Hayley orrantia is a native of America. She is primarily an actor, however she is also a songwriter and singer. People are familiar with her because of her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' Her primary focus is as a performer. At the age of 9 of age, she began dabbling into music. As she grew to the age of 12, her music began to take on a serious nature and she began professional training. The singer-songwriter began writing songs at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her first collection of cover songs. There hasn't been a turning to the past since. Orrantia was raised in the USA but has Hispanic roots. Although she never lived or spoke Spanish in Mexico However, she is strongly proud of her Hispanic roots. Her goal is to preserve it by creating Spanish songs, and also studying the language. She recorded a Spanish version of a song entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared in The X Factor season 1's auditions during the summer 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses" which is a vote by the judges at the Seattle audition. Her initial audition was an individual performer. However, following "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to an ensemble to go through the auditions. They were eliminated in the fifth week during the live performance.
