Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and performer. People are familiar with her because of her role as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' But, she is to be primarily a musician. According to her, music was always her first obsession. By the time she reached age 12, she took music seriously enough to begin professional training. Following a few attempts at writing songs, she recorded her album of songs at age fourteen. Since then she's never ever looked back. Orrantia was raised in the USA but is of Hispanic roots. Even though she spoke only English as a child and never been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic origins. In her pursuit of learning Spanish and writing songs, she strives to maintain the spirit of her culture. She recorded an Spanish version of the song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia tried out for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia got selected out of a YouTube video that she submitted and got the judges' four "yes" vote from jury in the live audition stage at Seattle, Washington. Although she originally auditioned as a solo artist, at "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed into groups for the remaining part of the auditions. Live shows were staged in the fifth week.
