Cherry Pie marked her 2002 debut as a vocalist on The Master of Disguise's soundtrack. The former boyfriend of hers, ORyans's debut music video"Take It Slow, featured her. Her main focus is on music genres like R&B Hip-Hop and Rap. The number one hit track, 3:16 AM is released by the popular publishing company A&R and available digitally through iTunes made her more popular. It was when she was contacted to be a part of Canadian rapper Drake and be a part of the group Nothing Was the Same that she gained international recognition. The Worst hit the number 1 spot on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop-Airplay charts in May of 2014. The song peaked at eleventh within Hot R&B/Hip-Hop.
