Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, had a difficult childhood. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away in order to escape an abusive relationship. In 1995, she was returned back to the world of Pickler, and took the custody rights. It didn't go according to was planned. Pickler's grandparents raised her from 12 to she reached adulthood. In the absence of her parents, Pickler got too involved in caring for her kids. In absence of parents Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not go to school. She instead began to teach herself how to take care of her family members at a younger time. Pickler was the cheerleader at the middle and high school. North Stanly High School graduated in the year 2004. Pickler has also been an beauty contestant. She was once named Miss Stanly County.
