Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in the US for over 40 years. Most famously, she is known for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career as a stage performer in the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Later, in 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. In 1957, she released her debut music album entitled It's Time for Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous success and Louise earned an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she joined the Actors Studio in New York and developed her association with Lee Strasberg as his student. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise was a success in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an effective television director in various series like Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated from Essex to Toronto, where she spent growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and has been settling down there ever since.
